The island features two natural harbors, Katapola and Aegiali, which serve as the main coastal hubs. The beaches of Amorgos are celebrated for their crystal-clear clarity, most notably Agia Anna (located just below the monastery), Mouros with its underwater caves, and the long sandy bay of Aegiali. Furthermore, Amorgos is a premier destination for hikers, boasting an excellently preserved network of ancient signposted trails that traverse the island's dramatic ridges, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.
