Loutraki is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Corinthia region.
It is an internationally renowned spa town, famous since ancient times for the healing properties of its thermal springs, attracting visitors year-round.
In recent decades, Loutraki has also gained fame for another reason: its casino. The Club Hotel Casino Loutraki is one of the largest casinos in Europe, offering visitors a luxurious, cosmopolitan environment and a unique experience for those wishing to try their luck.
Loutraki is located approximately 4 km west of the Isthmus of Corinth, stretching along the northeastern coast of the Corinthian Gulf. Its privileged geographical position makes it an ideal destination for both winter and summer getaways.
The town boasts excellent tourist infrastructure, with hotels of all categories, restaurants, cafes, and nightlife venues. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Corinthian Gulf, which are annually awarded the Blue Flag of Europe. Strolling through the bustling city center, shopping in the local stores, and savoring exquisite meze and traditional dishes at seaside tavernas or restaurants adds to the charm. At night, the bars and nightclubs provide lively entertainment.
Among the local attractions are the ruins of the ancient city at the western tip of the peninsula, with findings dating back to prehistoric times. The foundations of the Hera Limenia and Hera Akraia sanctuaries from the 6th century BC were also uncovered.
The main religious site in Loutraki is the Monastery of Saint Patapios, a historic monastery built on the slope of the Geraneia Mountains, dating back to the 11th century, which houses the relics of Saint Patapios.
Nearby, the village of Perachora retains its ancient name and offers charming streets for a leisurely stroll as well as tavernas where visitors can enjoy local cuisine.
