A seaside area located on the western part of the island, 3 km from the town. It is set in a pine-covered location. The area features two beautiful sandy beaches, Mikro Neorio and Megalo Neorio, considered the most beautiful on the island. Equally stunning is the small beach known as the Limanaki tis Agapis (Little Harbor of Love). Here, swimming enthusiasts can enjoy unforgettable hours of peace and relaxation, while those interested can also practice water sports.
The area is also ideal for evening walks. It is famous for its magical sunsets, which you can enjoy either strolling along the beach or savoring your meal at the picturesque seaside tavernas.
Near Neorio lies one of the island¢s most important landmarks, the Russian Naval Base.
