The village of Kleisoura is located on the eastern side of the Kastoria region, 32 km from the town of Kastoria. It is a beautiful traditional village worth visiting, where you can wander through its charming neighborhoods.
A distinctive feature of the area is its dense forests. Walking along the lush trails is an unforgettable experience. These paths often lead to some of the local churches, and along the way, you will encounter numerous springs with clear, crystal waters, adding a special touch of beauty to the region.
Kleisoura is also home to unique historical and religious monuments, such as the Holy Monastery of Panagia, dating back to the 15th century, and the churches of Saint Dimitrios, Saint Nicholas, Saint Athanasios, as well as the chapel of Prophet Elias.
Additionally, the Ethnological Folklore Museum of Kleisoura is worth visiting, housing historical artifacts and a rich collection of photographs that showcase the cultural heritage of the area.
