The settlement of Aposkepou is located just 4 km from the center of Kastoria. It offers the most impressive views of the beautiful Kastoria Lake, as the houses are built on a hill and arranged amphitheatrically, “overlooking” the blue waters of the lake.
The charming, traditional square of Aposkepou is surrounded by centuries-old plane trees. A distinctive feature is its 12 stone fountains, which provide crystal-clear water to passersby and create a serene, countryside atmosphere.
In recent years, the settlement has been developing its tourism infrastructure. Hotels and rental accommodations are already operating, attracting visitors to Kastoria by combining a peaceful, rural atmosphere with close proximity to the city center.
